Feed-in/control box ex
The Ex feed-in/control box from Pro Therm controls electric trace heating systems safely and in accordance with standards in potentially explosive areas.
The Ex feed/control box from Pro Therm is specially designed for use in potentially explosive areas and complies with all relevant ATEX and IECEx standards. It is used for the safe feeding, control, and monitoring of electrical trace heating systems for pipes, containers, tanks, or special applications in industrial plants, power stations, or chemical plants.
The box is designed for one heating circuit and can be individually adapted to the respective application. Depending on the version, direct switching control can be implemented: Built-in thermostats or electronic controllers switch the heating circuits directly on and off. Alternatively, the signals from the temperature sensors can be routed to terminals so that the switching takes place in a switch cabinet provided by the customer, which is located outside the hazardous area.
Pro Therm supplies the control box fully equipped with terminals, drill holes, and screw connections. A stainless steel box bracket for stable mounting can also be supplied.
The box solutions for hazardous areas are robustly constructed, low-maintenance, and durable. They enable precise temperature control, provide fault and operating feedback, and can be easily integrated into existing control and management systems.
The Ex feed-in/control box from Pro Therm provides operators with reliable, safe, and standard-compliant control of electrical trace heating systems, ensuring safe operation in potentially explosive areas while also being flexible, easy to install, and economical.
