Self-limiting heating tape

Self-limiting heating tapes are characterized by their automatic power adjustment to the ambient temperature. This makes them ideal for use in potentially explosive atmospheres (ATEX, IEC, EAC, UL), as they automatically regulate the temperature limit, preventing overheating even under changing ambient conditions.

A major advantage of self-limiting heating tapes is their flexible application across highly variable heating circuit lengths, from a maximum of 200 meters down to very short circuits of just a few meters, which are often difficult to achieve with conventional heating systems. They can also be used in liquids, significantly increasing their versatility in industrial and plant engineering applications. Furthermore, a return loop to the power supply or control box is not required, which is particularly advantageous from a technical and economic perspective for short heating circuits.

The heating tapes are UV-resistant, chemical-resistant, and temperature-resistant up to 250 °C. Thanks to their ease of use, they can be installed quickly and easily on-site. The connection and termination can be completed directly on-site or, upon request, delivered pre-assembled from our workshop – ideal for quick, safe, and clean installation.
