Polymer-insulated fixed-resistance heating cables are a proven solution for electrical trace heating when reliable temperature maintenance, frost protection, or controlled heating is required. Their special construction with durable polymer insulation makes them suitable for use in a wide variety of industrial environments and they are characterized by high resistance to external influences.

The insulation materials used make these heating cables UV-resistant and resistant to numerous chemicals. This allows them to be used both outdoors and in industrial facilities with chemical exposure.

Another advantage is their ease of installation. The small bending radii allow the heating cables to be easily installed even in confined spaces or complex geometries. Temperature resistance up to 260 °C enables use in demanding applications, while simultaneously covering a broad range of uses from frost protection to temperature maintenance up to approximately 130 °C.

Polymer-insulated fixed-resistance heating cables offer a wide range of specific resistances (Ω/m). This allows for customized heating outputs and precise sizing of the heating cables to the medium, cable length, and desired operating temperature. For applications with low specific heating power below 10 W/m, the use of cold cables can often be avoided, further reducing installation effort.

Depending on the model, the heating cables have international approvals such as ATEX, IEC, EAC, and UL, making them suitable for safety-critical applications and use in potentially explosive atmospheres.
