Maintenance
Through regular maintenance and electrical testing, we ensure that your frost protection systems operate reliably in the long term and that any potential malfunctions are detected early.
Electrical underfreeze protection systems are generally very robust and operate reliably for extended periods. Nevertheless, it is recommended to inspect the systems regularly to ensure continued reliable operation and to detect potential malfunctions early. Regular inspections – for example, annually – help maintain operational reliability in the long term.
As part of the maintenance process, our service technicians inspect all critical system components. These include heating cables, junction boxes, distribution boxes, power supply and control boxes, as well as the control and monitoring technology. We also perform relevant electrical measurements, such as insulation and resistance tests, and document the results. This allows us to identify and rectify any deviations or signs of wear in a timely manner.
Regular maintenance helps ensure the reliability of the frost protection system, prevent potential failures, and extend the service life of the components. At the same time, operators gain a clear overview of the system's technical condition and can plan necessary maintenance measures in advance.
