Heating existing hoses
Retrofitting heating may be possible on suitable customer-supplied hoses. Available space, outer construction and connections must be assessed. Suitability is established using the hose manufacturer's information and the intended operating conditions.
Insulation jackets and handling
Heating can be combined with an application-specific insulation jacket. Bending, movement and everyday handling must suit both the heating cable and insulation. Sensors, electrical connections and temperature control are coordinated with the operating duty.
Data for the heating design
Send the hose type and datasheet, length, bore and outside diameter, product and temperature requirements. Include ambient conditions, movement, existing insulation and available voltage. Photographs of the fittings help us assess the interfaces.
