Output and circuit selection
A self-regulating cable’s output depends on temperature. Heat loss and the cable output curve must be compared under matching conditions. Cold start, maximum circuit length and protection are assessed separately. Self-regulation does not replace the review of controls, electrical protection and permitted operating conditions.
Replacement using existing system data
Send the full marking and, where possible, photographs of the installed component. Include quantity, location and requested date. We identify the part against the existing plant and agree a specific construction with you.
Support from Pro Therm
You can request supply together with advice, design or replacement support. For electric heat tracing, Pro Therm has its own installation teams working internationally. Thermal insulation can be offered with partner companies. The appropriate scope is agreed for your project.
