ELSR-R has a round profile suited to certain seals and door profiles. Replacing a profile heater requires the groove dimensions, cable route and connection space to be understood. A photograph of the profile is often more useful than an estimated cable length.

Output and circuit selection
A self-regulating cable’s output depends on temperature. Heat loss and the cable output curve must be compared under matching conditions. Cold start, maximum circuit length and protection are assessed separately. Self-regulation does not replace the review of controls, electrical protection and permitted operating conditions.
Replacement using existing system data
Send the full marking and, where possible, photographs of the installed component. Include quantity, location and requested date. We identify the part against the existing plant and agree a specific construction with you.
