Reliable control technology is a key component of electrical trace heating systems. Pro Therm develops and manufactures control cabinets and control solutions precisely tailored to the specific application and operational requirements.

For smaller or less technically complex applications, compact control units in terminal boxes or control cabinets are used, which can be mounted directly on the object to be heated. These solutions enable space-saving installation and ensure precise temperature control with manageable technical effort.

In addition, we also design and manufacture comprehensive control cabinet solutions with integrated protection and safety functions. Depending on the specific application, we integrate, among other things, residual current circuit breakers, miniature circuit breakers, power contactors, and monitoring relays to guarantee the safe and reliable operation of the trace heating systems.

Our control cabinets are designed and manufactured according to the requirements of DIN EN IEC 60947-1 (VDE 0660-100). This ensures that all switching devices used comply with applicable technical standards and safety requirements.

For temperature control, we offer both simple electronic controllers and multi-channel control modules with a modern user interface, enabling convenient monitoring and control of multiple heating circuits. Operating and fault messages can be provided via appropriate interfaces and easily integrated into existing control or monitoring systems.

For specialized applications, such as fire suppression systems, we also offer control cabinet solutions compliant with VdS, FM, and British Standard standards, featuring redundant heating circuits. These systems ensure exceptional operational reliability and guarantee that the frost protection function is maintained even if one heating circuit fails.

For the American market, we also offer direct-switching control cabinets for 480VAC supply voltage with EN approval and UL/CSA certification for individual components (not overall certification).
