Door frames and seals in refrigerated and frozen food areas are often exposed to extreme temperature fluctuations. When humidity condenses and freezes at low temperatures, door seals can freeze, making doors difficult to open or even damaging them.
This problem can be effectively prevented with electric door frame heaters. The heating systems are installed directly in or on the door frame and keep the seals and adjacent door surfaces at a constant temperature. This ensures that the door remains easy to open and functional at all times, regardless of the ambient temperature.
